Kids, About, Their, Parents, open, okay

Is it okay for parents to be open with their kids about sex?

Like when a little kid asks his mom or dad what sex is, how many parents out there think it's okay to tell them about it in a simple? I always liked the idea of answering this question by saying parents fit together like a puzzle when they love each other, which sometimes results in a baby boy or girl later on.

So what do you guys think is the best way to answer kids questions like this?
After the word "simple" it should also say "way."

i just say that when a man and woman love each other they lay really close together. sometimes that results in a baby. i have found that saying it this way avoids the inevitable, "but how are babies made?" question. so in a way, you are giving them just enough information with out telling them anything that is above their understanding. good luck!
